Montrichard x Disney / Warner Bros

Designing and coding e-commerce that converts

How I designed and built product pages for Disney and Warner Bros licensed watches that drove a 23% conversion increase and $300K in direct profit.

Role

Graphic Designer, then Project Manager & Amazon Store Manager

November 2024 to September 2025

Tools

Figma, Shopify (HTML/CSS), Photoshop, Illustrator

The Problem

Montrichard Group sells licensed watches from Disney, Warner Bros, and other entertainment brands across international markets. When I joined, the product pages were generic Shopify templates with no visual hierarchy, weak brand presentation, and inconsistent styling across 50+ product SKUs. For a company selling $200+ licensed watches, the pages didn’t communicate the premium quality buyers expected. Conversion rates were underperforming and there was no system in place to scale new product launches without starting from scratch every time.

What I Did

Phase 1: Audit and Redesign

I started by analyzing the existing pages, identifying where buyers dropped off, and mapping what trust signals were missing. The pages lacked proper typography hierarchy, lifestyle imagery, brand badges, and clear calls to action. I redesigned the core product page template in Figma, focusing on three things: trust (licensing badges, quality photography, social proof), clarity (clean layout, readable specs, strong CTA placement), and brand consistency (each product line had its own visual treatment while sharing the same structural system).

Phase 2: Code and Ship

I didn’t hand off designs to a developer. I coded every page myself in Shopify using HTML and CSS, ensuring pixel-perfect execution of the Figma designs. This eliminated the usual back-and-forth between designer and developer and meant I could iterate in real time based on performance data.

Phase 3: Build the System

I created a modular template system so new products could be launched quickly without compromising visual quality. Each template had defined slots for hero imagery, product details, trust signals, and upsell sections. The team could launch a new product page in hours instead of days.

Phase 4: Marketing and Optimization

Beyond product pages, I created the full marketing ecosystem: email newsletters, ad campaign creatives, social media assets, and landing pages. I ran A/B tests on page layouts and CTA placements, iterating based on what the data showed.

The Results

  • 23% conversion rate increase on redesigned product pages
  • ~$300K in direct profit attributed to pages I designed and coded
  • Modular template system that scaled across 50+ SKUs without needing a designer for each launch
  • Full marketing pipeline from product page to email to ad creative, all designed and built by me
